Ever dreamt of witnessing a volcano in action ? Join us on this Stromboli day trip for a front-row seat to the incredible lava flows on this Aeolian Island ! We'll also swing by Ginostra, a quaint village accessible only by boat. Stromboli Day Trip Meet us at the Santa Marina Salina Port, where we'll board a boat to Stromboli . Get ready to visit the island with the most volcanic activity in the Aeolian archipelago ! We'll set course northeast, sailing along the Tyrrhenian Sea and sighting the Panarea and Lipari islands along the way. We'll disembark in Ginostra , a small and isolated village of Stromboli, which can only be reached by sea. Did you know that the town didn't have any electricity until the beginning of the 21st century ? In Ginostra, we'll give you 2 hours of free time , so that you can enjoy its quiet atmosphere while you stroll through its small streets. Don't forget to admire its white houses surrounded by olive and lemon trees , which create an image of a town frozen in time. At sunset, we'll meet back at the ship and set sail north of Stromboli. The sky will start to be tinged with orange and pink colours as we approach the Stromboli volcano , which reaches a height of 924 meters (3,031 feet) . Here, we'll drop anchor for 30 minutes to admire the Sciara del Fuoco . This is the name given to the volcanic depression through which lava flows from the heart of the Stromboli. Seeing this natural spectacle firsthand is a unique experience , one you're sure to remember for a lifetime! Then, we'll return to the meeting point, bringing our day trip to an end, 5 hours later.
